"Juventus" will not defend their Italian champions title this season, but the Turin club might also miss out on the UEFA Champions League next season. The "Old Lady" suffered a humiliating 0:3 defeat at home to AC Milan on Sunday and dropped out of the top four. Despite the painful loss, Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo has no intention of stepping down from his position. "I definitely have no intention of stepping down. I accepted the coaching position even knowing that there could be certain problems. We still have three matches left and I am ready to work as long as I am allowed to do so. The project of this team looked a bit different in my mind and I expected to have different players. I tried to implement certain concepts, but I had to make a lot of changes and adapt to the players we have. I am not saying that this team cannot accept changes, but some ideas are impossible to implement with the current players. I have to take responsibility for the fact that some players are not showing their best. We have a lot of great footballers, but something is just not working and that is my responsibility," - A. Pirlo speaking to Sky Sports.
