London's "Arsenal" secured a place in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals on Thursday, but the triumph was overshadowed by Aaron Ramsey's injury.
The 28-year-old footballer, who will join Turin's "Juventus" after his contract expires in the summer, was substituted in the match against "Napoli" after the first half-hour. It was revealed that Ramsey suffered a calf muscle injury.
"Arsenal" still has to play five more matches in the "Premier" League and at most three in the Europa League until the end of the season.
After the match, Unai Emery admitted that A. Ramsey's injury is not simple. There is a possibility that his season is already over.
"It is a muscle injury. Usually, it takes several weeks to recover. However, we have other players who can contribute to our game. I don't know if these were Ramsey's last matches for the club," - U. Emery briefly explained the situation.
A. Ramsey played 40 matches this season, scored six goals, and provided eight assists.
