Women's football is becoming increasingly popular lately. A lot of it is due to the "Barcelona" club, which started professionalizing women's football in 2015. On Wednesday evening, the women's "El Clasico" match took place between the Barcelona and Madrid "Real" women's teams. It was the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, in which Barcelona triumphed 5-2 and advanced to the next stage. Furthermore, this match broke the attendance record for women's football matches, with a total of 91,553 football fans watching the "El Clasico."
During the match, "Barca" was trailing 1-2 and risking leaving the Champions League, but the Catalans managed to score 4 goals in 18 minutes. One of them was scored by the aforementioned Alexis Putellas.
