Bayern Munich player Arjen Robben denied the criticism that appeared in the German media about him directed to former team coach Carlo Ancelotti, stating that he would never do such a thing.
Kicker published quotes from the player, in which it is stated that the Dutchman claimed that the Bayern club's training sessions were of lower quality than those of his son's youth team. However, Robben himself quickly denied these words, saying that it is complete nonsense.
"Out of nowhere, things started appearing in the media that I would like to distance myself from. These so-called quotes of mine are complete nonsense. I cannot stand when such things happen. I am the last person who would attack a coach, a teammate or anyone else. When something happens, you have to remain a man and not blame anyone," Robben explained the situation while speaking with Goal.
C. Ancelotti was dismissed from the Bayern team after losing 0-3 in a Champions League match against PSG. Despite the coach's dismissal, the Bavarians lost two more points in the German championship over the weekend and are now behind Borussia by five points.
