The Scottish national team failed to start the European Championship successfully - they were defeated by Germany 1:5 in the first match.
After the match, Scottish defender Andy Robertson carefully chose his words:
"We did not press opponents who had the ball enough, and the whole action was perfectly controlled by German midfielder Toni Kroos."
"His ability to make passes probably has no equals in the world, and when you allow such an opponent to freely control the ball, he will undoubtedly make accurate passes."
Scottish forward Ryan Christie mentioned:
"Now the most important thing is to gather ourselves and try to take revenge in the match against Switzerland.
Germany is a world-class national team. We will have to learn this lesson and hope to achieve a positive result in the remaining matches."
