"Hull City" defender Andrew Robertson says that referee Mark Clattenburg apologized during halftime for counting Alexis Sanchez's goal, which he scored after the ball hit his hand.
With this strike, the Chilean led London's "Arsenal" team forward in the 34th minute, and this result stood until the end of the match.
Finally, a penalty was awarded for Sam Clucas's handball and the same Sanchez doubled the "gunners" advantage.
"Yes, it was a handball," - Robertson told Sky Sports.
"When we left the field during halftime, the referee apologized to us. He said it was a handball. Obviously, he reviewed this episode during the break and saw that it was incorrect."
"Everything happens so quickly that it is difficult for the referee, you can sympathize with him a little. Ultimately, when you arrive at such huge stadiums, decisions like this are not made in your favor, so it killed us."
"If the score had been 0-0 after the first half, you could see how we played in the second half, we could have taken points."
However, Robertson added that Clattenburg himself was not 100 percent sure whether to call the handball, but he admitted his mistake.
