On Saturday, the first 10th round matches of the English "Premier" League took place.
"Sunderland" clashed with London's "Arsenal" players in front of their own spectators. Arsene Wenger's pupils had no difficulties away - they defeated the opponents with a score of 1-4.
The "Gunners" took the lead in the 19th minute of the match - after a precise pass from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez scored the first goal.
After a quick goal, "Arsenal" continued to dominate, but in the 65th minute the hosts managed to equalize the score - Jermain Defoe scored from the penalty spot.
However, the response from the North London team's opponents did not scare them, and in the 71st minute after a substitution in the penalty area, Olivier Giroud again put the visitors in front. The same Frenchman increased Arsenal's lead to two goals just five minutes later.
The final point in this match was set in the 78th minute by A. Sanchez. A. Wenger can be happy because after a double, two team strikers scored on their own goals.
Having won the victory, "Arsenal" with 23 points temporarily climbed to the top spot, while "Sunderland", who have not yet won a single game this season, remain in last place.
