A. Sanchez won't return to the field for almost three weeks

"Sky Sports" journalist Andy Burton, who spoke with London "Arsenal" manager Arsene Wenger at the "Emirates" stadium, announced yesterday after the club's victory against "Manchester City" that the "Gunners" star Alexis Sanchez's injury has worsened. According to the North London team's manager, the Chilean injured his hamstring in the match against "Norwich City" and will only return to the pitch on January 10. This means that the forward will have to miss four more matches - Premier League fixtures against Southampton, Bournemouth, and Newcastle United, as well as an FA Cup clash with Sunderland. Sanchez has played 18 matches and scored 9 goals in all competitions this season. In addition to the 27-year-old footballer's injury, Arsenal currently have Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Francis Coquelin, and Danny Welbeck recovering.
