The World Cup in Qatar is distinguished by the fact that the matches last longer than usual.
The match officials have been instructed to meticulously count every stoppage time, so a significant amount of extra time is added during the games.
However, at least for now the situation may change.
In the match between Belgium and Canada, a scandalous African referee Janny Sikazwe, who is notorious for not liking overly long matches, will officiate.
In January of this year, during the AFCON match between Mali and Tunisia (1:0), the Zambian referee in his 42nd year twice declared the end of the match (85 and 89.4 minutes), and his actions caused confusion on the field.

- VAR review for a penalty, given (pen missed)
- Ref blows for full-time on 85 minutes
- Play does restart
- Player sent off
- VAR tells the ref it's not a red
- Ref rejects the red review (it was never a red card)
- Ref blows for full time on 89.40
Chaos!
