The new "Wolfsburg" acquisition Andre Schurrle praised London's "Chelsea" strategist Jose Mourinho, saying that the coach helped him mature.
The German national team member moved from Leverkusen's "Bayer" to "Chelsea" in the summer of 2013, but he rarely stood out on the field with the blue jerseys.
However, the 24-year-old footballer does not feel any regret about that.
"Mourinho made a man out of me. He makes his players understand that the most important thing in football is the result," - Schurrle told Kicker.
"Maybe human matters are not his priority, but we are all professionals, not children who need to be constantly coddled."
The winger also said that the 32 million euros paid for him will definitely not add any additional pressure.
Schurrle could make his debut in the "Wolfsburg" ranks as early as Saturday, when his team will face "Hoffenheim" in the "Bundesliga" championship.
