„Genoa“ team has started considering changes at the head coach position. Last weekend, the club led by Andriy Shevchenko suffered a 0-1 defeat at home to „Spezia“ and currently occupies only the 19th place in the „Serie A“ league. Interestingly, the 45-year-old Ukrainian had to lead his team remotely as he had not yet recovered from coronavirus. Shevchenko took over the helm at „Genoa“ in November, but during this period, the team managed to gather only three points - achieving three draws. Last summer, the coach successfully led his country's national team, which made it to the quarterfinals of „Euro 2020“.
