Legendary Ukrainian national team footballer and former Ukrainian national team coach Andriy Shevchenko has found a job in club football. From now on, A. Shevchenko will coach the "Genoa" team, which plays in the "Serie A" championship. The Ukrainian will replace Davide Ballardini in the position of head coach of the "Genoa" team, who was dismissed from his duties as head coach. Shevchenko began his coaching career in 2016 when he became an assistant coach of the Ukrainian national team. Shortly thereafter, in the same year, the legendary AC Milan striker also became the head coach of his country. This summer, Shevchenko and Ukraine achieved the best result in their country's history at the European Championship - reaching the quarterfinals.
