Ukraine national team head coach Andriy Shevchenko highlighted wasted opportunities to score more goals after a victory (2:1) in the European Championship Group C against Macedonia. According to the specialist, he has no major complaints to his players regarding the style of play demonstrated. "We should have scored more. I think today we attacked the opponent's goal very well. I am satisfied with the players' performance and the most important thing is that we reacted when the opponents scored. Then we showed the desire to score more and deservedly triumphed in the match," the coach clarified. Meanwhile, Macedonia's manager Igor Angelovski stated: "We played two different halves. In the second half of the match, we showed why we are in the European Championship. When fans accompany you with loud applause, it shows that the team played a really good game. Of course, it's a pity that it didn't result in a positive final outcome."
