"Liverpool” club head coach Arne Slot talked about the limited minutes for Federico Chiesa and the players' contract situations:

"The situation with Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Trent Alexander-Arnold regarding their expiring contracts doesn’t concern me.

We’ve accepted the situation as it is.”

"What is most challenging is that we are playing so many matches. F. Chiesa needs more playing time...

If you haven’t played for five or six months, sometimes it’s hard for the coach to give players a lot of minutes because then you don’t know what to expect from them.”

Federico Chiesa has played only three matches this season.
