A. Slotas: 'R. Hughes and the owners did a great job to keep M. Salah at the club'

"Liverpool” club head coach Arne Slot expressed his happiness that the team’s leader Mohamed Salah has extended his contract with the "Scousers”:

"We have wonderful news that we have managed to keep M. Salah. Huge compliments to the sports director Ricardas Hughesas for that.

R. Hughes and the owners of this team, FSG, have done a great job. They put in a lot of effort to ensure the Egyptian stays with this team… Efforts usually mean significant money!”

32-year-old Mohamed Salah has been playing for "Liverpool” since 2017 and will remain with the team for another two seasons.
