A. Teixeira could become Ramires' clubmate in China

"Liverpool" was close to acquiring the leader of Shakhtar Donetsk, Alex Teixeira, but reports in Italy now suggest that the Brazilian may move to China. According to "Calcio Mercato", the attacking midfielder is nearing a 50 million euro transfer to Jiangsu Suning, which recently added another Brazilian, Ramires. In January, it was announced that Liverpool was negotiating for Teixeira, but the Ukrainian club suddenly raised the player's price from the requested 38 million pounds to 53 million, and the deal fell through. The Reds planned to revisit this in the summer, but it may end up coming to nothing as negotiations between Shakhtar and Suning are still ongoing. It is believed that the Chinese club paid 25 million pounds for former Chelsea defender Ramires, so they should not have any issues with the fee for Teixeira's transfer.
