According to reports, Liverpool made a £25 million offer for A. Teixeira to the Ukrainians, but it was rejected. "Shakhtar" is asking for £35 million for the Brazilian who has been in excellent athletic form this season, so the clubs will have to negotiate.
"Shakhtar" received an official offer from Liverpool," said the footballer. "However, it was rejected and I don't know for what reasons."
"It was a great offer, so I am disappointed that it was not accepted. Liverpool is a big club, and it would be a great honor for me to play there.
