31-year-old Ecuadorian national team star Antonio Valencia will not leave "Manchester United" after this season - the defender has extended his contract with the "Red Devils" for another year.
"Man Utd" recently also extended the contract with Marouane Fellaini for another year. A few days after this news, the multiple English champions also announced the renewal of A. Valencia's contract, which will see him playing in Manchester until the summer of 2018.
Last summer, there were rumors in the media that Jose Mourinho would look to acquire a new right-back, but "Man Utd" did not do so, and A. Valencia played the entire season uncontested in that position.
A. Valencia joined "Man Utd" back in 2009. During this time, the Ecuadorian has already played 270 matches and scored 21 goals.
