"Manchester United" official website announced that a new three-year contract has been signed with the safe Antonio Valencia.
The Ecuadorian national team player joined the "Red Devils" team in 2009. The 28-year-old footballer will stay in Manchester until 2018, with the possibility of extending the contract.
After the agreement, "Man Utd" club's assistant manager Ryan Giggs said: "I am really pleased that Antonio has signed a new contract. His contribution since coming to the club has been fantastic."
"Valencia is a very strong player, known for his speed and versatility. He approaches his profession very professionally, and I am very happy that he has tied his future to the club," Giggs concluded.
Meanwhile, A.Valencia himself was also satisfied with this decision: "The entire time in the "Manchester United" team was like a dream come true. Coming from Ecuador and winning the "Premier" league was the greatest moment of my career and the entire country."
Throughout his time in the "Man Utd" team, A.Valencia has played 191 matches and scored 21 goals.
