Yesterday, Arturo Vidal, who announced the end of his career with the Chilean national team, changed his mind the same night - the 30-year-old midfielder will remain in the national team.
The Bayern Munich midfielder thanked the team and his teammates on his Twitter account after not making it to the 2018 World Cup, for all the time spent together.
It seemed that this would be the end of Vidal's career with the Chilean national team, but the Chilean quickly changed his mind.
"I am very disappointed and regretful for all of Chile, but we must fix things and not repeat such mistakes," the midfielder mentioned about future goals.
"This is a difficult moment for our country, but we are not ones to give up easily. We all need to stay united and pursue our goals together.
"Every time I am called up to the national team, I will come with great pride. This is my national team," added Vidal.
