Bayern Munich defender Arturo Vidal has no doubt that his team will reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, but the Chilean does not expect an easy match against Real Madrid.
The fates of the two old continent's teams met in the quarterfinals. The first clash will take place in Germany, where Vidal hopes to solve all the difficulties so that Madrid will only have to deal with formalities.
"Now we have two difficult matches against Hoffenheim and Borussia. These two matches will be excellent preparation for the match against Real Madrid," Vidal said.
"We hope to secure a spot in the next round in the first match. We have to be especially cautious with the ball, as they will try to take advantage of any mistake. I don't think they will dictate the conditions of the game, I think we will have control of the ball. We cannot simply lose the ball and we have to be especially careful from the first minutes of the match. Hopefully we will be able to score an early goal," the Chilean continued.
When asked which Madrid team he prefers to face, Vidal replied: "It will be completely different matches against Real, as they don't wait for as many opportunities as Atletico. Real is a big team that always sticks to its game plan. They create many opportunities and dominate in the matches. It's no coincidence that they are the current European champions."
