The Amsterdam "Ajax" club barely extended their journey in the UEFA Europa League.

In the second leg of the knockout stage at home, "Ajax" lost 1:2 to "Royale Union" after extra time, but won the series with an aggregate score of 3:2.

The match started extremely well for the visitors, who took the lead in the 16th minute after a precise shot by Kevin Mac Allister.

In the 25th minute, "Ajax" midfielder Davy Klaassen saw a red card, and soon after, "Royale Union" forward Promise Davids converted a penalty kick to equalize the series score.

The teams ultimately settled their accounts in extra time, where the only and decisive goal from the penalty spot was scored by "Ajax" midfielder Kenneth Taylor.
