London's "Arsenal" team strategist Arsene Wenger is convinced that Alex Sanchez's departure will not be as painful as Robin van Persie's move to another team in the past.
The coach believes that fans have already come to terms with the Chilean's departure, but it was not the case when R. van Persie moved to the same "Manchester United" team in 2012. It is rumored that A. Sanchez's transfer to the "Red Devils" team is just a matter of time.
"We took in van Persie when he was still playing for the reserve team of 'Feyenoord'. We worked a lot with him. When you bring them here and they leave the team, that's when it hurts the most.
Our fans already know that Alexis is not renewing his contract. They have already accepted it and understand that it's not up to us. All this should go smoother and therefore, maybe there will be less disappointment. Yes, we are losing a player, but we can acquire another," said A. Wenger.
