Londono "Arsenal" strategist Arsene Wenger says that despite the excellent form of the other capital club "Chelsea", the fight for the Premier League title is not over yet.
Jose Mourinho's pupils have not been defeated so far this season and an increasing number of fans are starting to compare the team to the "gunners" of the 2003-2004 season when they did not experience a single loss in England throughout the season.
Currently in second place, "Manchester City" lags behind "Chelsea" by a few points, but Wenger believes that the "cityzens" will not be the only ones trying to push the "aristocrats" out of the first place.
"You cannot say that the fight for the title is over after 13 or 14 matches," - said the Frenchman. "It is also incorrect to claim that the point difference is insurmountable."
"We did not start the season well ourselves, but at the very beginning, we did not even have all the players. It was a typical start after the World Cup. Now we must fight like crazy because we have to prove that we can compete with all the teams," Wenger added.
"We have fought for the trophy many times. People always remember those who win it, but over the last 8 or 9 years, the difference has often been very small," he continued.
"There is huge competition in England and we have to accept it. The strength of the Premier League is constantly growing, and Chelsea started this season particularly well. It will be difficult to beat them, but everyone will try to do so," Wenger concluded.
