London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger did not complain about his players' mood after losing to "Bournemouth", but he is much more concerned about another aspect of the game.
After scoring a goal, the "Gunners" were completely ineffective in the second half of the mentioned match, while Eddie Howe's players maintained their advantage calmly with two accurate strikes.
Both summer newcomer Alexandre Lacazette and regular season player Danny Welbeck failed to find a way to the opponent's goal when the absence of Alexis Sanchez was strongly felt.
"I am not concerned about the team's spirit," said Wenger.
"I am concerned that when it's needed, we are not dangerous enough. In the last third of the pitch, we looked a bit flat. Not sharp enough to create chances."
"Overall, it was a difficult match for us. We were leading 1-0, but then we made two unexpected mistakes. It wasn't provoked errors - just poor decision-making."
"After the match, all we can think is 'How did we lose?'. The end of the match is very disappointing."
After the recent failure, "Arsenal" is now eight points behind the top four in the Premier League.
