A. Wenger denied rumors about M. Ozil's departure

London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger insists that recent reports in the media claiming that Mesut Ozil has already informed his teammates about his intention to move to "Manchester United" are false.

The German national team player contributed significantly to the "Gunners'" victory against Liverpool's "Everton" yesterday, once again proving his importance to critics who may doubt him.

However, he has not yet extended his contract with the capital team, which is valid only until next summer.

"We live in an environment where we have to deal with false news," Wenger said at a press conference.

"Both players and I always have one answer - what happens on the football pitch."

"When you see Mesut focused like today, enjoying the game like today, it's very hard to believe such rumors."

The 29-year-old footballer has scored seven goals so far this season with "Arsenal," and his goal and assist against "Everton" were his first.
