London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger admitted that he is no longer as confident about his job because he will discuss his future with the club's management after the end of this season.
Last year, the Frenchman faced even more pressure to end his long-lasting career within the "Gunners" ranks when the team failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time with him.
However, "Arsenal" later won the FA Cup, and the 68-year-old specialist was rewarded with a new contract.
"I said that after each season I will sit down with the club's management and see where we are going - it's not exactly the same thing," Wenger told beIN Sports.
"You know, sometimes you say a sentence and people interpret it in the direction they want."
"That's exactly what I said - I have a two-year contract and will always try to fulfill it, but I will also be honest and sit down with the board to discuss where we are going. It's quite simple."
Currently, "Arsenal" players are not performing any better and are in the same fifth position in the "Premier" league.
