London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger praised Alexandre Lacazette for his performance against London's "Chelsea", even though he was substituted in the second half.
The French national team player has started his visit to England quite well so far, scoring two goals in the first six matches.
Although these numbers are significantly lower than those he demonstrated at "Lyon", the 26-year-old footballer was noticeable in the capital derby.
"I think Lacazette had a good first half. He worked very hard for the team, he is very disciplined and needs a little time to maintain such intensity for 90 minutes," Wenger said.
"Also, don't forget that I had Walcott, Giroud, and Alex on the bench. So, after 65 minutes of such intense matches, it's normal to bring in fresher legs."
However, Wenger insisted he would never allow players to accept being substituted and giving way to others.
