London's "Arsenal" strategist Arsene Wenger is ready to speak not with words, but with actions and hopes to fight for victory against "Paris Saint-Germain" tomorrow.
The clash of the "Gunners" with the strongest French team of last year marks the beginning of the UEFA Champions League season.
The best achievement of the London team in this tournament was the final in 2006. However, in recent years "Arsenal" has not even come close to it.
"I just focus on the upcoming match. I think I have already participated in more than 170 matches in the Champions League. In the next match, I want to perform well. My personal interests do not matter here," said Wenger.
"Last year we finished second in the group because we were surpassed by Bayern. We beat Bayern at their home, but they were more consistent. In order to triumph in the group, we need to achieve a good result tomorrow."
"Our game and dynamics that we can bring to the match are better than any of my speeches. If you look at the results of the weekend, you will see that our priorities are very intense. We are used to such intensity and play in the Champions League. However, it's better to play well than to talk."
"I was used to much younger lineups when we didn't have resources. Now I have a team of more experienced players. Their age ranges from 24 to 30 years old, which means we have a good combination of physical abilities and experience."
The clash between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will start tomorrow at 21:45 Lithuanian time.
