The wife of the unexpectedly deceased "Gunner" fan was greatly surprised when she received a letter from the strategist expressing deep condolences.

"Although I did not know Nathan personally, I heard that he was an active supporter of our team and we are very grateful to him.

"I know that these words mean little now, but we are with you in this very sad and difficult moment," the letter reads.
