London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger denies rumors about Alex Sanchez's impending move to "Paris Saint-Germain" and calls it media fantasies.
The leader of the Gunners still hasn't signed a new contract, as his current one only has one year left, so journalists from various countries constantly create possible scenarios for his future.
Recently, reliable sources have reported that the Chilean had met with PSG's sports director Antero Henrique, and the main topic of discussion was a potential transfer worth 50 million euros.
However, at a press conference, Wenger said the following words: "It's just media fantasies."
Sanchez recently mentioned wanting to play in the UEFA Champions League, something he won't be able to do with Arsenal.
On the other hand, when asked if the interest from foreign buyers changes his perspective on a possible sale, Wenger replied: "No, it doesn't make any difference."
It seems that due to the French club's strong reluctance to sell Sanchez to competitors, at least Manchester City has backed out of the competition for him.
