London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger says that talks about a new contract offered to him are just rumors.
Today's information that the club's managers want to keep the Frenchman for another two years appeared in the "Times" newspaper.
The 66-year-old specialist took over the reins of the "gunners" twenty years ago in the fall, but his current contract will expire in just over 12 months.
"You can consider this as another rumor," Wenger said at a press conference. "This is completely untrue and I would like the press to verify the information before releasing it. They could have asked me or the club, and we would have denied it."
"I am thinking about the upcoming matches. As long as my contract is in force, I am fully dedicated. At the moment, that's all."
In the last match of this season's "Premier" league, "Arsenal" will play against the league's last-placed team, Birmingham's "Aston Villa".
