"A. Wengeras urges to urgently adjust the rule of remoteness"

Former London Arsenal coach, now working at FIFA organization Arsene Wenger urges to adjust the offside rule.

This season has sparked a lot of discussions when goals were not counted if a player crossed the forbidden line by just a centimeter and it was recorded by the VAR system.

According to the Frenchman, offside should not be counted if any part of the player's body that he scores goals with enters it, and that part does not cross the forbidden line.

"Changes need to made as soon as possible because now the rule is being violated with even a centimeter precision. Offsides should not be counted if the player's body part that scores goals does not cross the forbidden line, but not, for example, the nose," said A. Wenger.
