A. Wengeras: We Should Soon Be Getting Some Newcomers

After the 0-0 match with Leicester City, Arsene Wenger admitted that the team is close to acquiring a new player.

According to rumors, Arsenal still hopes to acquire Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, and Wenger himself spoke optimistically about the possible addition of a new player to the team.

"Yes, we are close to acquiring a new player. But just spending money hoping for quality is not enough. Spending money on the right players gives you quality. I'm starting to dislike answering the same questions. We always pay attention and analyze everything so we can make the right decision," - said the Frenchman on BT Sport.

After the match, Wenger also praised Rob Holding, who played in the center-back position alongside Laurent Koscielny and contributed to the team not conceding any goals.

"No one talks about Rob Holding's performance today. He's English, he's 20 years old, you should be happy. But he didn't cost 55 million pounds, so he can't be good. This is the most disappointing thing for me - we no longer talk about players' performances. We talk about everything that is not football, and that's not good."
