Last summer, during a friendly match, Abdelhak Nouri, a student of Amsterdam's "Ajax", began to show positive signs. The 21-year-old footballer was brought to the hospital in July unconscious, when his heart stopped briefly during the match. He had to be put into an artificial coma, and later it was revealed that his brain had been damaged irreversibly. The situation seemed tragic, but over the year, the young player managed to slightly improve his condition. His brother Abderrahim, who spent all these years in the hospital with him, shared the positive news. "His neurological condition is better than it was a few months ago. Physically, it is still very difficult for him, apart from turning his head, he practically does not move, although sometimes he manages to get out of bed and sit in his wheelchair. The most important thing is that we can talk to him," said the footballer's brother. A. Nouri practically has no chance of ever returning to the field.
