"Real" Madrid's right-back defender Alvaro Arbeloa is not expecting an easy match in the UEFA Champions League, as he knows very well that Liverpool is a serious opponent.
The 31-year-old footballer played for the "Reds" in the past two seasons and remembers the exceptional atmosphere at Anfield stadium, where the Spanish capital team will not have an easy time.
"Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates told us that it is difficult to play in this stadium. I also said the same, because Anfield is an exceptional stadium," said the Spaniard at a press conference.
"A lot has changed since these teams last met. Both clubs have new players, but I know that the atmosphere at Anfield during European tournaments remains the same.
"People tell me that Liverpool played poorly in the Premier League last weekend, but believe me, even if Liverpool were to lose 10-0 to QPR, I would still step onto the field with anxiety. We expect tough matches," added A. Arbeloa.
