In the English "Premier" League this season, the club that successfully debuted decided to stay within its ranks. This defender belongs to the Moscow team "Lokomotiv" and was loaned to "Reading" last summer.
However, the English club decided to keep the Cameroon national team player in their ranks, paid a compensation of 1 million pounds to the Moscow team, and signed a three-year contract with the footballer. However, all this still needs to be officially approved by the English and Russian football federations.
"I am very pleased that Andre has signed a long-term contract with our team. He has integrated well into the game and has shown great potential. Andre also has a good character, adapted well to other players, and will be a very important player for us in the next few years," - said club president John Madejski after signing the 22-year-old defender.
"Reading" currently holds the 7th place in the "Premier" League and realistically aims to debut in European cup competitions next season.
