"Manchester United" recently signed a new contract with one of the team's most promising players, Marcus Rashford, who will defend the team's honor at least until 2023.
The 21-year-old Englishman has already left for the team's preparation camp in Australia, where, during press conferences, he revealed that the decision to sign a new contract was not difficult, and also talked about the prevailing mood in the team.
"My goal has always been the same - to bring the club back to where it belongs. The decision to sign a new contract was not difficult.
The mood in the team is as it should be - we are all positive. Last season was not good enough for us. At the moment, we are in a better situation than we were at the same time last season," said M. Rashford.
The forward also shared his thoughts on his personal goals for the upcoming season.
"I feel physically stronger. I don't think specific numbers are necessary, because the goal is always to score as many goals as possible.
Speaking of other goals, I never wanted to be a forward who can only play in one position. I want to play on the wings as well. Since the age of seven, I have worked to be able to adapt to different situations," said M. Rashford.
The young Englishman will be one of the highest-paid "Man Utd" players next season, with his salary reaching approximately 200,000 pounds sterling per week.
