On Sunday, in the Serie A match of the 9th round, the team of AC Milan suffered another defeat, losing 1-3 at home to Fiorentina.
Fiorentina took the lead in the 14th minute when Erick Pulgar confidently converted a penalty kick. This was the only goal in the first half of the match.
Milan's team faced even more problems in the 55th minute, when Mateo Musacchio was sent off for a rough offense against an opponent.
The visitors took advantage of their numerical superiority and in the 66th minute, Gaetano Castrovilli scored the second goal for his team.
Just four minutes later, the visitors had a golden opportunity to score another goal, but Federico Chiesa failed to convert a penalty kick from 11 meters.
Nevertheless, Fiorentina found the third goal in the 78th minute, when Franck Ribery brilliantly deceived the opponents in the penalty area.
In the 80th minute, AC Milan managed to score a consolation goal, as Rafael Leao scored after a fantastic solo run.
For Milan's team, this was their third consecutive defeat in the Serie A championship and so far Marco Giampaolo's team is in 16th place, while Fiorentina, after their second win of the season, climbed to 9th place.
