On Saturday, three matches of the seventh round of "Serie A" were played.
AC Milan team won a hard-fought victory, defeating "Genoa" with a score of 2:1.
At the end of the first half, in the 41st minute, "Genoa" took the lead when Lasse Schone scored a penalty kick, although in that episode Milano goalkeeper Pepe Reina played uncertainly.
During added time of the first half, the referee had to pull out a red card from his pocket, punishing Genoa defender Ricciardo Saponara who was sitting on the bench for the visitors.
The guests managed to equalize in the beginning of the second half - in the 51st minute, Theo Hernandez scored from a sharp angle.
The hosts' troubles did not end there. In the 57th minute, "Genoa" defender Davide Biraschi handled the ball in the penalty area, and after a VAR review, the referee awarded a penalty kick. Furthermore, D. Biraschi received a red card for this foul.
Standing at the penalty spot, Franck Kessie scored and put AC Milan in front.
In the 79th minute, the balance of players on the field was leveled - Davide Calabria received a second yellow card for his foul.
In the added time given by the referee, "Genoa" had a golden opportunity to equalize but L. Schone failed to convert the penalty, which was saved by P. Reina, who gifted it to the opponents.
After this incident, the referee had to show another red card, this time to AC Milan substitute Samu Castillejo.
For Milan, this was only their third victory in Serie A this season, and with 9 points they are currently in 11th place.
