Munich's "Bayern" star Arturo Vidal filed a lawsuit against SportBild for their report claiming that the player consumed alcohol during the club's training camp in Qatar.
On Tuesday, a German newspaper reported that Vidal had left the team base several times and returned intoxicated. The player quickly denied these reports and revealed that his lawyers had already filed a lawsuit against the newspaper.
"I want to emphasize that the information published in the German newspaper is absolutely false. My lawyers have already taken legal action against this newspaper for spreading false information. I am one hundred percent committed to the team and ready for the remaining part of the season, which will be very important for all of us. Thank you to the club for their support and to the fans for their constant love," Vidal wrote on Twitter.
The next match for "Bayern" will be on February 6th away against the "Bayer" team.
