"A.Cole" clashes hands with "Roma" club

33-year-old left-back defender Ashley Cole has officially become a member of the Italian vice-champions "Roma". His contract with London's "Chelsea" club expired this summer, so the footballer became a free agent and after receiving an offer from the capital's team in Italy, he signed a two-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year. Several US clubs also expressed interest in A.Cole's services, but the player's agent only considered offers from abroad - the player did not want to stay in England. A.Cole represented two London clubs in England - "Chelsea" and "Arsenal", and also spent one season at the beginning of his career loaned to "Crystal Palace". Throughout his career, the Englishman won the English championship three times, triumphed in the FA Cup seven times, and won the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League once each.
