After triumphing in Serie A once again, coach Antonio Conte joked about whether Juventus could win the UEFA Champions League next season.
Italian giants experienced a complete fiasco in football last year when they were eliminated in the group stage.
"Winning the Champions League? I don't intend to joke anymore and I respect the fans," Conte said.
"If you asked me if Juventus could ever win this tournament, I would say yes. However, the current Turin team is unable to compete for such a title."
"I want to win everything, including the Champions League. My career is just beginning," said the Italian.
The last time Juventus became European champions was in 1996, when they defeated Ajax after a penalty shootout in the final.
