Madrid newcomer Emmanuel Adebayor insists that the opportunity to play for one of the most powerful clubs in Spain is a dream come true for him.
The Togo national team footballer has been loaned to "Real" until the end of the season from the "Man City" team, where the striker did not play a key role.
In Madrid, Adebayor will have to fill the gap left by the serious injury suffered by Gonzalo Higuain.
"My dream has come true - I will be able to play football at the highest level again and in a club like "Real"," said the African. "After leaving "Arsenal" I moved to "Man City", and things didn't go well for me there. Moreover, during the African Nations Cup tournament, I was involved in an armed attack and nearly lost my life.
"All these events traumatized me a bit, so it was difficult. But now everything is in the past. The year 2010 started unsuccessfully, but 2011 is going well because I signed a contract with "Real"."
