Madridth Real club strategist Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that midfielder Angel di Maria wants to leave the team.
For most of the summer, the Argentine was linked to a move to Paris St.Germain, but due to financial constraints, the French champions decided not to acquire him.
Recently, the 26-year-old footballer has been more closely connected to Manchester United, which, according to reports, is ready to release 100 million pounds for the transfer fee and player wages.
Di Maria asked to be sold this summer and rejected a new contract offer. He needs to find a solution. If the window closes, he will still be a member of our team, no problem", Ancelotti said.
"For now, he is a Real player, but anything can happen by August 31st. I am surprised by the newspapers that write about disagreements between me and Di Maria. There are none, and our views coincide."
Ancelotti also revealed that midfielder Sami Khedira rejected an offer to sign a new contract and was linked to London's Arsenal club.
"The situation with him is slightly different. He did not ask to be sold. There is still a year left on his contract with the club, but Khedira turned down the offer of a new contract. We will see what happens in the remaining time", the specialist confirmed.
