A.Di Maria: "Real" urged me not to play in the World Cup final

"Manchester United" has added security Angel Di Maria revealed scandalous details about the relationship with the royal club management.

According to the player, the "Real" team asked him not to risk and not to play in the World Cup final, but the footballer was ready to ignore that.

"Before the crucial match, I received a letter from the Madrid club urging me to skip the meeting for gold.

A few hours later awaited the final, and I tried to prepare for it as best as I could. I tore the letter to pieces - it was insignificant to me. Later, I talked to coach Alejandro Sabella and he decided that I would watch the match from the sidelines.

I didn't want to pressure the coach, but I knew that because of an untreated injury, the meeting could end for me after 15 minutes. The team would have been in trouble," Di Maria said.

"I didn't even maintain a working relationship with the president of "Real". When I extended my contract, he was not even there," he said.

"I knew that Cristiano Ronaldo was fighting for my survival in the Spanish team, I don't know how much he himself will survive in the "Real" club," said the Argentine.
