2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament being held in Gabon has been unsuccessful for the hosts.
Gabon's national team, represented by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, played to a draw for the third time in a row in the final A group matches and did not advance to the next stage of the competition.
The Gabon team did not show anything serious in their match against Cameroon and played to a goalless draw. The latter draw was enough, as Cameroon secured second place with 5 points.
First place in Group A went to the Burkina Faso national team, who defeated Guinea-Bissau 2-0. The latter finished in last place with just one point.
