In the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal confirmed their favorite status and defeated Equatorial Guinea's footballers with a score of 3:1. The first goal came in the 28th minute. After a great team attack by the Senegalese, Famara Diedhiou sent the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal. However, the determined Equatorial Guinea footballers managed to equalize the score.
