Discussions about the intentions to create a "global Super League" have been ringing in the air lately, including at FIFA. "FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are working to organize World League matches, in which three to four African teams could compete with 'Liverpool' and other major clubs from the Old continent," clarified Abo Rida, the Egyptian representative in the FIFA council. "This is a big project that we hope to implement in the next two years."
