In the quarterfinals of the LFF Cup between Marijampolė's "Sūduva" and Vilnius' "Žalgiris", an 11-meter penalty shootout was needed. The main time and extra time ended goalless - 0:0. In the penalty shootout, as many as 14 attempts were needed, with both teams scoring 7 times, and Vilnius' "Žalgiris" triumphed 6:5. Josip Tadič scored the 11-meter penalty for Vilnius' "Žalgiris", while Yevgen Yefremov and Semiras Kerla, who scored the decisive 11-meter penalty, did so for "Sūduva". In these matches, Marijampolė's club still played without Keisuke Honda. The semifinals will also feature Plungė's "Babrungas", Kaunas' "Hegelmann" and "Panevėžys" apart from "Žalgiris".
